Just like yesterday, we're shocked and amazed by the total lack of coverage to the MAJOR stories of the day by our local news.
For example, looking at just our 6:30 PM news broadcasts, here's what you didn't see:
All US warships in the area, which include 20 ships and 200 aircraft, were ordered to leave their ports and head-out into open seas. In addition, joint military exercises in Jordan were halted and US soliders were sent-out to sea.
The State Department has also issued a warning to all Americans in the world, urging them to take precautions and this threat seriously!
This resulted from the interception of conversations involving known associates of terrorist, Osama Bin Lauden.
This comes on the heals of yesterday's inditements of 14 involved in the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing, which killed 19 American servicemen. The anniversairy of that attack is Monday.
This case has drawn international attention, and in an unprecedent move, the British Court also issued an order making it a crime for the media to report any information obtained about the identities or whereabouts of these boys.
Eight years ago, the two boys lured a two year-old at a shopping mall, then brutally tortured him by beating him with bricks and metal bars, pouring paint on him, then eventually leaving him on train-tracks where he was literally cut in two by a passing train.
